As per some Redmi Note 4 users, Xiaomi is bringing the MIUI 9.5 Stable ROM, which includes the much awaited Notification Shade feature. It is essentially a quick reply feature with which you can reply to a message directly from the notification pane.
As per posts on the Mi Community, Xiaomi is rolling out the MIUI 18.104.22.168 for some Redmi Note 4 smartphones. Apart from the February security patch, the update is said to bring new ringtones, lock and unlock sound, and charging sounds.
With the rollout of the MIUI 9 Global ROM update back in November 2017, Xiaomi introduced many changes. Also, the company rolled out a few more features with the MIUI 9.2 update in January this year. The new features include Split Screen, new Gallery app, Calendar Cards, new Notification Shade, new Mi Explorer, Mi Video app, Mi Drop, App Vault, and interactive and fresh UI changes.
The MIUI 9.5 ROM is expected to be made available for a wide range of Xiaomi devices running Android 7.0 Nougat or above. And, the update is said to bring the new Notification Shade feature. Moreover, Xiaomi is expected to enable the ability to use the split screen feature on the devices running Android Marshmallow such as the Redmi 3S, Redmi 3S Prime and Redmi Note 3. However, the company is yet to make an official announcement regarding the same.
